Over the years he has learned that everything starts with understanding what the client actually needs. Only then do technology and experience help connect them with the right person.

He has led online recruitment advertising teams across Europe and Asia for almost 25 years, and his entrepreneurial instinct is what keeps the company moving forward. The business is, in a real sense, an extension of him: he loves to laugh and always looks for the silver lining in the darkest cloud.

Jemin was born in Wales to Kenyan parents. His grandparents are Indian, his ancestry is Persian, and his favourite food is Japanese. He counts that mix as a strength, and it has served him throughout his career.

Gareth loves working with clients, and it shows. After 17 years he still answers the phone himself, still enjoys talking a hiring manager or business owner through a tricky role, and still gets a buzz when the right candidate comes through.

Most of his day is spent on the part employers don't see: rewriting the advert that isn't pulling the right applicants, telling you honestly when a role needs a different approach, and knowing which vacancies fill in a week and which will take a month. He has filled every job role you can imagine.

Gareth is a fitness fanatic, with energy levels that would make the Duracell bunny jealous. He trains before most people are awake, and still arrives at his desk with more energy than the rest of the team combined. He loves spending his weekends on the Welsh coast with his young children when he's not training!

Selina makes sure everything on the site is right, from the first advert of the day to the last link on the page.

Every job advert that goes live passes across Selina's desk first. She checks the wording, the formatting and the details, so your vacancy reads well and nothing gets lost between your email and the published advert.

She looks after the rest of the site's content too - the career advice articles, the employer pages and the logos that sit beside every advert - making sure each one is accurate, current and looks the way it should.

Then she tests it all. She checks the site on phones, tablets and desktops, hunts down broken links and odd layouts, and fixes the small things most people never notice, but every candidate would.

Outside work, Selina is rarely without a book or a plan for her next trip. She has lived in Madrid and Australia, and is happiest somewhere new with a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

Heidi keeps everything running behind the scenes, so the rest of the team can focus on you.

Heidi runs operations and accounts, keeping the day to day moving so the rest of the team can focus on clients. Invoices, renewals and billing questions all land with her, and are usually answered in one email.

She also manages our suppliers and partners, from the job boards we advertise on to the systems the site runs on, making sure everything is in place, on time and on budget.

She is the glue that holds the company together, working with clients, candidates and every member of the team, and her attention to detail is second to none. She is also, simply, a happy soul: it is hard to deal with Heidi and not end up smiling.

With two boisterous boys, she is the ultimate working mum and an inspiration to the whole team. She relaxes walking along Penarth Marina, or rewatching a Korean drama - currently It's Okay to Not Be Okay.

Mikas reads the internet, literally. There is no new advance, product or branding insight that he isn't aware of. His mind is a sponge for information, and our clients are all the better off because of it.

Job feeds, aggregators, search, and the technical end of getting a vacancy in front of the right town. When something needs to go live quickly, or come down quickly, Mikas is the reason it does.

His analytical mind is only enhanced by his on-point gut instinct - in another life he would have been a scientist rather than an online recruitment specialist!

A man of few words, Mikas is always worth listening to when he does speak. Outside work he climbs, kite surfs and spends time with his young daughter, and visits friends from London to Vietnam whenever he can, soaking up every culture along the way.

Ayesha makes sure the right people hear about your job, wherever they happen to be looking.

Ayesha manages our presence on the wider job boards, making sure your vacancy reaches the national sites as well as ours when you want the extra reach - with the right wording, in the right category, at the right time.

She runs our social media too, putting local vacancies in front of people who would never have browsed a job board that week. Most good candidates are already in work, and Ayesha is often how they first hear about your role.

Beyond the site, she looks after our wider marketing and PR - partnerships, local press, events and campaigns - so that when an employer or a candidate hears our name, they already know what we stand for.

Outside work, Ayesha is a fashion lover through and through, and rarely goes a week without finding something new on Vinted. When she isn't browsing, she is outdoors - she loves nature, and is happiest out on a long hike.
